As a registered nurse, certified personal trainer, wife, and mom of two grown sons (with a bonus of five energetic grandsons!), I’ve seen firsthand the benefits of taking charge of my health.

But as we age, our bodies can experience some changes – slower metabolism, hormone shifts, or even medical interventions like my recent knee replacement surgery and cancer treatment!

That’s why maintaining an active lifestyle is so important for everyone as we age; it helps keep us physically youthful and mentally invigorated by providing much-needed balance in life.
